With a background in blue-collar recruitment and a sharp understanding of what makes people tick, he’s focused on building lasting partnerships in a tough, competitive market.

John's Background and Experience

John got his start in high-volume temp recruitment before making the move to the more specialised world of surveying. Alongside a degree in English Literature, he brings a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of how to match the right person to the right role. He joined Grada for its strong leadership, high-performing team, and values-driven culture, and he’s now working to become a recognised name in the surveying space. One highlight so far? Helping an overseas candidate return home to be closer to family and landing them a role that had been open for over a year.

Confidence and clear communication go a long way, and John’s not short on either. He’s great at breaking the ice, building trust, and getting to the core of what people want. For him, it’s all about showing up, putting in the work, and staying steady even when results take time. Outside of the office, he’s usually out fishing, reading, or winding up his twin sister (who he swears is both his best friend and mortal enemy). His advice?
